The subject of the 816pine.com website is the family of Jerry and Aldoris Anderson.   The Andersons raised seven children at their home on 816 Pine St. in Yankton, South Dakota. They’ve since moved away from there, but the house seemed an appropriate icon to represent that family.  And, of course, every possible domain name containing “anderson” was already taken.

(I think it would be a good idea to put the whole story here of how grandma and granpa met etc, but I don’t know all the details - I’ll need some help from someone who does - perhaps Grandpa could write this section)
